Personal note-

“I am a person who has 10% eye-sight without stereo vision from-birth. It is as clear as that. Or maybe as blurry.

I started painting at the age of three. Many years later I understood that this was mainly functioning as a tool to get a grip on how things really are in the three dimensional world. My mother would let me touch every single object for hours, and then I would try to draw them on paper. As a mechanics teacher, my father taught me how to draw perspective at the age of 6, which further lead me to my quest of exploring color, form and space.

Maybe it was my lack of perfect vision that perfected my hearing; sound became an incredibly important guide for me.

In time, listening was joined by creating the sound.

For many years I have been experimenting with the combination of two of my best guides in life. With Sound and Image as a foundation, I explore their dialogue and oppositions.
